Pan de Leche

6 g instant dry yeast
4 g active yeast mixture
¾ c. lukewarm milk
¼ c. lukewarm water
520 g. plain flour
¼ c. sugar
½ t. salt
1 egg lightly beaten
125 g. butter, melted

Egg wash: 1 egg lightly beaten mix with 1 T. water

Dissolve yeast in milk and water and let stand for 5 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients, knead well, cover and leave to rise for 10-15 minutes.
Scale and mould to desired size.
Proof at room temperature uncovered until double in size.
Brush with prepared egg wash and score the top of each piece.
Bake at 150 deg. C for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Let to cool on a wire rack or serve while warm with margarine .
