The Joy of Spending Time in Nature

Many children have been home schooled and parents have desperately sought a variety of ways to entertain, amuse and tire their children. Pastry has found unprecedented levels of popularity. So instead of hunched over a computer or locked indoors, many people have sought to seek a little joy from spending time in nature.

Spending time in nature is important for many reasons.

– We were lucky to have beautiful weather over the summer months, a blessing that provided space and time away from the four walls of our homes. Many families have never spent so much time together outside of Christmas or the holidays, which can be nice when you know how long it’s going to be, you still have a job and it’s good to live.

Dog walkers often exchange pleasantries which sometimes result in new friendships, recommendations and keeping up to date with local news.

– There is another rhythm of life in nature, a rhythm that needs no watch or clock. Sometimes it’s full of joy, other times it’s less. But it’s good to detach from your own world and values ​​for a while, especially when many of us are weighed down with worries and barely know what day it is or what the future holds.

– Take a break from home is important. If the weather is bad, you can wrap up warm and come home to steaming cups of hot chocolate, a hot bath, or maybe a meal that’s been slow-cooked while you were away.
