Alternative Medicine Treatment For The Crohn’s Disease

If you’re reading this, you’re looking for answers about Crohn’s disease. You were told there was no real cause for it; therefore, therefore, there is no remedy. The only option left to you is treatment with powerful pharmaceutical drugs.

Most likely you are confused. You fear pain, bloody diarrhea, fatigue, the possibility of colon removal, cancer, and the side effects of medications you are taking. In the internet jungle, thousands of sites promise and sell miracle cures. The situation with Crohn’s disease is extremely complicated. Even medical authorities in this field write “Seventy-five years after Crohn’s characterization as a single entity, we are still in the dark.”

Let me share some ideas about the causes and possible non-drug treatments for this disease. All I’m going to tell you is information from the statistical and medical literature, from the practice of doctors in other countries, and from my own 40-year experience with Crohn’s disease. Yes, we do not know what is the real cause of this disease, but some facts can shed light on this problem.

All medical statistics show the growth of autoimmune diseases, including Crohn’s disease, over the last 60 years, mainly in North America, Europe, New Zealand and much less in Southeast Asia and in South America. We can’t blame the genes; they cannot change in 60 years. Some scientists view Crohn’s disease as a disease of the wealthy and associate Crohn’s disease with Westernization.

You were told that Crohn’s disease is an inherited condition, so you weren’t lucky enough to escape it. The definitive role of genetics is only 15%. Personally, I believe in the heredity of the lifestyle when, generation after generation, people give birth by caesarean section, eat only infant formula and eat unhealthy foods, drink alcohol, smoke, have the same vaccines and infections, take antibiotics, NSAIDs and live or work. in the toxic environment, etc.

No wonder, lifestyle heredity is responsible for many disorders and medical articles and books prove it. Thus, 85% of harmful environmental factors play a role in the development of autoimmune diseases, which have been increasing for 60 years.

You have been told that Crohn’s disease is an autoimmune disease when the immune system acts like crazy attacking the person’s own tissues. Normally, the immune system is designed to protect humans from invaders such as harmful microorganisms and toxic substances.

There are three common immune system disorders. The immune system can be weakened after viral, bacterial or parasitic infections, chemotherapy, immunosuppressive drugs, radiation, stress, AIDS, heavy metal toxicity, weak adrenals and thyroid, etc. Secondarily, the immune system can work very high. We can see it in many allergic diseases, food and chemical sensitivities, vaccinations, chronic infections, etc. All of these factors can trigger an abnormal immune response in predisposed individuals.

Unfortunately, there are no specific tests for Crohn’s disease; therefore, he should rule out alternative diagnoses, such as intestinal infections and parasites, diarrhea after antibiotics, Clostridium difficile diarrhea, celiac disease, lactose intolerance, exacerbation of irritable bowel syndrome- IBS, diverticulitis, side effects of NSAIDs, Candida yeast overgrowth, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth-SIBO, colon cancer and more.

Having helped patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease for many years, I firmly believe that the solution to managing autoimmune diseases is to simultaneously control digestion, dysbiosis (Candida-yeast overgrowth, bacterial overgrowth of small intestine-SIBO) and chronic acidity of the body.

The key to healthy digestion is healthy pancreatic function and a good balance of friendly gut flora. Unfortunately, the beneficial intestinal flora of modern humans is diminished and altered. If the baby did not receive mother-friendly gut flora during natural birth and the breast milk or the infant receives many antibiotic treatments from the first year of life, the beneficial gut flora is replaced by yeasts, harmful bacteria and parasites.

These nasty invaders irritate and inflame the walls of the small intestine, create a porous and leaky intestine, ferment undigested food, producing a large number of toxins. This can cause enormous strain on the immune system with its overwork which manifests in allergic reactions and allergic diseases. The allergy still exists in Crohn’s disease; it is a leading player in all autoimmune diseases.

Modern diet with unhealthy eating habits, consumption of chemically modifying “dead” food products, sugars, white flour, bad fats and oils, processed cow’s milk, can deplete pancreatic function. The pancreas must produce more pancreatic digestive enzymes to digest “dead” food without natural digestive enzymes. Poorly digested food passes through the porous and leaky intestine in the blood, causing further terrible strain on the immune system.

Moreover, wheat and milk were introduced into the human diet only 10,000 years ago. From this point on, the digestive systems do not adapt well to lectins; protein in grains and beans (for example, gluten) or casein (protein in cow’s milk). Poorly digested lectins pass through the porous, permeable wall of the intestine into the bloodstream, attach themselves to body tissues, and mimic healthy cells. The confused immune system attacking lectins also destroys healthy intestinal cells. Many scientists believe it may be a central mechanism for triggering a “crazy” immune response, especially in susceptible people.

There is also evidence that Crohn’s disease is an infection, and Mycobacterium avium which causes tuberculosis in cows may play a role in the development of Crohn’s disease.

The question is valid. Can alternative medicine methods help? My answer is “Yes” because these methods focus not only on aggressive immune response and inflammation, but also on possible causes of disease, disease sub-sequences, and treatments. Many of these methods are proven, scientific and clinical. Some are widely used by doctors in other countries. They are:

1. Strictly lectin-free, Candida-fighting, segregated and alkalizing diet

2. Drinking healing mineral water made from real Karlovy Vary thermal salt

3. Super strains, bile resistant probiotics

4. Herbal formulas, herbal extracts and herbal teas

5. High quality and potency variety of nutritional supplements such as minerals, trace elements, vitamins, amino and essential fatty acids, various supplements for immunity support, pain and scar reduction , control of Candida yeast, bacterial and parasitic overgrowth, healing of the intestinal mucosa and precursors of neurotransmitters

6. Acupuncture: Chinese body, Japanese scalp, Russian earlobe, Korean foot-wrist, cupping, electro-acupuncture

7. Medical hypnosis, deep relaxation, personalized self-hypnosis CD, etc.

Some of these healing methods are virtually unknown in the United States. For example, one of the unknown methods is drinking healing mineral water for ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease. For more than 500 years, European doctors sent their patients suffering from chronic diarrhea or bloody diarrhea to the small Czech town of Karlovy Vary to drink healing mineral water from the thermal spring.

Realizing that the mineral content of this water is a main therapeutic ingredient, Czech doctors suggested producing the real Karlovy Vary thermal salt. By dissolving this salt in water, everyone can make healing mineral water at home. By scientific research, healing mineral water from Karlovy Vary

• Normalizes the acid-base balance

• Improves liver and pancreas function

• Increases the quantity and quality of pancreatic digestive enzymes

• Promotes the growth of friendly intestinal flora

• Heals damaged intestinal wall, reduces inflammation

• Restore the balance of water, essential minerals and trace elements

Almost all patients with ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease are aware of probiotics and may already be taking them. On the other hand, few people realize that mixing probiotics with antibiotics, immunosuppressants and steroids does not work or may pose a potential risk.

We can make the analogy of the gastrointestinal tract with the garden. It is difficult or impossible to grow roses if the garden is full of weeds, pests, rodents, chemicals and the soil is drained and deficient. The roses themselves must also be of acceptable quality. No one can improve the condition of the garden without the help of a qualified professional. Restoring friendly gut flora is vital, but it’s not a quick fix and self-treatment.

According to clinical studies and my experience, it is impossible to achieve stable remission without restoring the normal function of the pancreatic gland. Weak function of the pancreas, low quantity and poor quality of pancreatic digestive enzymes aggravate all autoimmune diseases; I explained it in my eBook. Chronic bloody diarrhea has plagued mankind for millennia. Therefore, ancient doctors faced this problem some time ago and gained experience in treating chronic diarrhea mainly through healing foods, herbs, and acupuncture.

Thus, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are the result of a multifactorial interaction between possible genetic, immune, environmental, digestive, infectious and medical triggers. By accepting this, I do not believe in panacea or miracle in this case. Only hard work and cooperation between the patient, friends, relatives, PCP and competent and licensed doctors can bring the patient to a stable remission. A personalized and simultaneously performed combination of natural, holistic and non-drug methods of alternative medicine can be very beneficial for people with ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.

The goal is to improve pancreatic function and overall digestion, restore friendly intestinal flora and normalize acid-base balance, regulate immune response and inflammation, and correct deficiencies.

Rush does not help. Suddenly stopping medication can lead to a rebound effect which can make things worse. Therefore, after helping to achieve clinical remission, the patient and his doctor will decide to safely withdraw from the drug by overlapping them using more non-drug methods.
