  • “My metabolism slows down as I get older, so it’s hard for me to lose weight.” – Your metabolism only slows down by about 2-4% per decade after age 30. These are very low numbers and may not affect your weight loss program unless you are very old, 80+ years old!
  • “I was born to be fat.” – No one is born to be fat because our bodies do not create weight and fat out of thin air. Have you ever seen a hungry person who is overweight? Of course I don’t! The only reason why you keep gaining weight and/or can’t seem to lose weight is because your eating habits have been the same your whole life. These are probably bad and should be changed to see any results. A good diet plan can fix this very easily if you follow it.

Once you admit that you are responsible for your current situation, it’s time to give advice!

  1. Eat your breakfast every day because if you don’t, you will end up eating more during the day. People think that they can save themselves by gaining calories in the morning by not eating anything, but they worsen the situation because it is not healthy to do so and, as I said before, they gain more calories during the day.
  2. Sleep well because people who sleep well at night tend to be less hungry in the morning. This is great, eat less when you wake up which means less calories.
  3. Exercise every day because it is important. And the average person needs to exercise 15 minutes a day just to stay healthy. You should do more!
